Unique large vintage sculpture depicting a colorful fancy Koi fish, circa 1980s. Hand-crafted from single piece of carved limewood, decorated using deep multi-layer cerusing wax & color wash technique for distinctive white-wash finish over deep/vivid pastel palette. Beautifully maintained with no damage or surface loss.
Sculptural items of this type were imported from Thailand by APL Bangkok Ltd throughout the 80s. Fun and funky vintage addition to brighten any indoor or outdoor space.
