This is a beautiful and rare 9ct gold lucky bean charm, featuring a beautifully claw set sunset red garnet which is secure.
Measuring approximately 2cm long by 1cm wide, it weighs 1.14g.
The reverse of the bean shows a hallmark for 9ct Gold and i would date it to the early 1900s. There is some visible wear on this antique bean - hardly surprising given its age, but these subtle signs of its history can only really be seen under close inspection and are not noticable when the bean is worn. The scuffs could also be polished out by your jeweller if necessary.
This wonderful antique charm looks wonderful on a chain around the neck or attached to a charm bracelet.
