Antique Vintage Pressed Glass Sherbet/Desert Dishes, Matched Set of 10.
The bowl, which is approximately 3 1/2" in diameter, is a swirl design, and the base, about 2 1/2" in diameter, is a Simple Star design.
The mold lines are visibly present on this lower-quality yet very collectible set.
Pressed Glass, also called Pattern Glass, was produced between 1850 and 1910. However, the majority were produced in the 1880s. When it was initially designed, it was intended for everyday use and was made to be very durable and, at the same time, attractive.
