This is an arm trainer, a device for correcting the stroke in billiards.
It might be effective for beginners or those whose form isn't yet set.
Even for A and B class players, if the elbow and upper arm aren't straight, they'll feel resistance or discomfort in their stroke, so it could be helpful for correction and adjustment to some extent.
I bought it last year and several of us used it.
It's not really possible to play a game while wearing it, but I felt it might be useful for checking your stroke.
In a way, it's a joke item for a forfeit (lol).
I haven't used it much, so I don't think there are any scratches or stains, but please be aware that it's not new.
