Vintage Chinese carved Cultural Revolution boxwood statue figure of a Fisherwoman with basket and a conch seashell. The carving shows the fine details of her hair, face, basket etc. She is approximately 8" (20cm) tall and the base is 3" (7.6cm) at the widest sides. I believe this piece is from the Mao Dynesty made between 1966-1976. There is a natural split in the wood at the base (please see close-up photo) otherwise this figure is in excellent condition.
