◎ This is a set of 6 karuta (Japanese playing cards) from Gunma Prefecture.

◎ This luxurious set includes "Jomo Karuta," a representative karuta of Gunma Prefecture, "Gunma Dialect Karuta" and "Gunma Dialect Karuta II" filled with Gunma dialect, "Ueno Sanpi Karuta" of Ueno Sanpi, registered as UNESCO "Memory of the World," "Maebashi Karuta" of Maebashi City, the prefectural capital, and "Ota Karuta" of Ota City, the third most populous city in Gunma Prefecture.

◎ Some items are unopened and unused, while others have been opened. Therefore, they are not completely new, but I believe they are a karuta set in generally good condition.
