ROSENTHAL, B.R.C. RACINE Art Nouveau Tea cups

RARE. Pre-owned, antique collectable. 6 tea cups and 9 saucers. Only one cup has a small chip, the others are good. (see photos).
Rosenthal porcelain company is a well known maker of tea cups for 140 years. The "BRC Racine" maker mark is associated with Bauer, Rosenthal & Co., a partnership active for from 1898 to 1903, this adds to their rarity and historical significance. This style of makers marks (BRC) dates the tea cup to 1898-1903. Made in Bavaria Germany.
Colors on the pattern: Dark green line art with yellow on petals tips, a very light spray of orange-tan at base of flowers. A raised relief pattern goes around the whole outer cup lip and pattern is repeated near saucer rim. The relief is painted gold gilt on swishy “S” shapes with a light touches in olive green in between. Gilt is also on the handle. The gilt circle in the center of the saucer has rub marks which happens often to old tea cups. Some thin lines of gilt are rubbed off the center circle of saucer.
