This is a beautiful collectible hardcover book (green leather bound in slipcase). The Hobbit was the first fantasy story that unlocked the later masterpieces by Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings trilogy and The Silmarillion).This book is still in fantastic condition! The only flaw of any kind is the title plate on the cover is peeled up a little at the bottom corner.
