Early Pre-Quartz battery powered (hybrid) watch. The battery powers a traditional balance wheel. Technology licensed from Leon Hatot ATO. De This watch has a near MINT dial and handset. It really couldn't be better for a 50+ year old watch. Case and crystal have some scratches that don't really detract but can be seen w/o a loupe. This is a super dome type acrylic crystal and could easily be wheel polished to 95%+ condition. The case back is clean and the watch runs as designed. Gorgeous Royal Blue dial really pops. All the Lume plots are intact on the Rolex style five minute markers. Date at 3. This IS a SWISS made watch. Was likely retailed by a big box retailer like Sears. But at the very high end of the Quality range. A very usable Vintage daily wear option that dresses up or down. Strap is supple and ready to wear with 98% life left.
