What is Mashiwata Yuki Tsumugi? It is a fabric made primarily in Yuki City, Ibaraki Prefecture, using floss silk, which is made by stretching cocoons into fluffy, bag-like shapes. Soft and filled with air, mashiwata is known for its warm and comfortable feel.
A kimono fabric with a floral design, made of 100% silk. This is an unused item that was stored at my grandmother's house, but it has been stored in a kimono chest for many years, so it is not a perfect item*. We ask that only those who understand this purchase it.
