Vintage 1950's H. A & E. SMITH Bermuda Handbag Made in England
Gorgeous, vintage, genuine leather handbag made in England for the renowned department store~H. A & E. Smith LTD. Bermuda. The store was founded in Hamilton, Bermuda in 1889. It was a very British Department Store specializing in British clothing, accessories & fine goods. It is no longer in business.
The leather on this bag is very soft and supple. The inside of the bag is suede. It is in good used condition, it has been extremely well cared for and stored. I have not cleaned it in any way-nor applied any products.
It measures approx. 11” long x 8” high (not including handle) x 3" wide and weighs 1.3 lb. This is an exceptional bag that would be a perfect addition to a collection or for use.
