Vintage 1970s Virginia Slims Tennis Duffle Bag. Teal blue bag with yellow straps and accents on the edges. The bag has a hard outer layer on the bottom and measures about 20" x 12" x 11". Each side of the bag has "Virginia Slims Tennis" printed on it. The main section has a double zipper enclosure and a hard bottom. Two zippered side pockets and a smaller zippered pouch on one of the sides. Two small handles (that can connect via Velcro) and one long strap for the shoulder for carrying. Zippers work great and the bag is in great condition. Very unique and hard to find!
The Virginia Slims Circuit was a tennis tour consisting of a group of originally nine female professional players. Formed in 1970, the VSC became the basis for the later WTA (Women's Tennis Assn) Tour.
