I am selling a great Franciscan item!
This is a large salad bowl from their Daisy dinnerware pattern.
This Daisy dinnerware pattern is part of their embossed, hand painted services that include the well-known Desert Rose, Apple, and Ivy, to name a few.
This Daisy pattern was introduced in 1960. It is differentiated from the other embossed, handpainted patterns because the Daisy pattern actually has an intaglio technique, rather than an embossed technique. The pattern features blue and yellow flowers accented with avocado green leaves.
The salad bowl measures 9 3/8” in diameter across the rim, and is 3 1/8” deep. The bottom has a brown ink stamp that reads
“GLADDING MCBEAN & CO.
Perfect condition, no chips, cracks, or repaire. No signs of prior use.
