This is an Imperial Glass Katy Blue Opalescent Diamond Lace Edge Depression bowl. The bowl was manufactured by the Imperial Glass Company of Ohio starting around 1935. Pattern is known as Katy and also sometimes referred to as "Triangles". The inner diameter design is also called diamond point. The beautiful blue glass with the white opalescent edge is often referred to as Katy Blue. The opalescent edge was sometimes called Sea Foam. This style of glassware is considered depression glass and dates to the 1930s. Measures approximately 8 3/8 inches in diameter and 3 3/8 inches high. It is in very nice vintage condition, no damage. Non-smoking pet free home.
