A lovely slip that is Authentic with original Kickernick brand tag. The slip is in Very Good condition, No rips, No holes. There is a faint discoloration on the back side just above the pink ribbon trim of the ruffle,like a faint outline. Its maybe 1inch.. It is so light I couldn't get a picture to show it. If you request added photos I will try again. The ruffle on the bottom is well attached with the netting sewn on separately. The netting is lightweight and gives a lift to the bottom of the slip.
The embroidered flower fabric with a mix of colors( blue, light warm gold color and soft pink ) is used for the bodice and over the netting as part of the ruffle.
Looking at other Kickernick items listed online, this item has a tag that merely says Kickernick. ( no Henson) That being said leads me to think it is dated pre - 1960s. My assumption.
