A fantastic pair of Mexican studio art earrings that look like angel wings produced in the Taxco region in the 1980s, made of repoussé work Sterling silver and accented with twisted brass wires. Hollow on the inside but beautifully made, these earrings are lightweight enough to wear comfortable and the clips hold them on securely.
Each earring is stamped Mexico T-B 102, the workshop ID number, as well as 925. Total weight is 18.6 grams, great condition, each earring measures 1 3/4". The clip backing is soldered in a way that the top of the clip peeks over the edge of one earring, not visible and does not affect wear when they are on.
