Vintage U.S. Navy OZ-1 Vacuum Tube Tester – Military Issue

This is a U.S. Navy–issued OZ-1 tube tester, designed for service technicians who maintained communications and shipboard radio equipment. It was built for field reliability rather than consumer convenience, which means the unit is solid, heavy, and engineered to do one job well: evaluate vacuum tubes accurately for transconductance, gas, shorts, leakage, and general performance.

The unit appears intact and complete as photographed. Controls, meter, wiring, and internal layout are original to the tester’s military specification. The case and hardware show use consistent with age.
