This is a pair of vintage 1993 ceramic Looney Tunes Wil E. Coyote & Roadrunner salt and pepper shakers. These were produced in China & they stand 5" tall. The cartoon characters were created for Warner Bros, in 1948. Wil E. Coyote & the Roadrunner first appeared in a 1949 cartoon. The premise is the coyote, which is cunning & devious, is always trying to capture & eat the Roadrunner, by using Acme TNT- it fails each time. Both are in good used/vintage condition, but the Roadrunner has a chip on his head & on the last T in TNT. Both are shown in photos.
