A hard to find original artist’s study in lead for a larger bronze statue. Artist unknown. 1930.
Man in hat and tie contemplates something while stroking his chin. A Dust Bowl farmer? A Midcentury philosopher? The more one looks, the more one sees and contemplates along with the subject.
Very heavy, solid lead.
