William Faulkner Absolom, Absolom! 75th Anniversary Limited 1st Edition RARE

This is the 1st hardcover edition of William Faulkner's Absolom, Absolom! that was published in 2002 to commemorate Random House's 75th Anniversary. There was a limited print run of the 1st, and Random House published several of their classic titles for the anniversary, such as this and In Cold Blood, Raisin in the Sun, The Book of Daniel etc. The copy is in near mint condition only because there's slight crinkling of bottom cloth spine. Otherwise, the book has NO other defects and has never been read before. You won't find this book ANYWHERE ELSE! Esp the 1st edition. They sold fast in 2002. So, this is a true collector's copy. DON'T confuse this book with a copy that comes in a box or slipcase and is sold on ebay and elsewhere. Those are called the First Editions Library (FEL), published by Collectors' Reprint, and they are a series of exact REPLICAS of first editions but not in themselves first editions. Tbey are for people who display them on bookshelves and pretend they are 1sts.
