Zero Order Wave Plate 38.1mm

Tower's large aperture Zero order waveplates enable users to manage new applications involving larger beam size and position shifts. These waveplates feature an air-spaced design with a stainless steel spacer between two crystal quartz plates, offering zero order capability. They are less temperature-sensitive than multi-order waveplates and exhibit higher thermal stability and power handling capability compared to contacted or cemented waveplates. Crafted from Laser quality Crystal Quartz, each plate is AR coated on both sides, with retardations of or wave. Available unmounted or mounted with anodized Aluminum rings, these waveplates boast high-performance specifications, including a wavelength range per table, retardation tolerance of 0.005 waves @ 632.8nm, and damage threshold of 1 kW/cm2-CW, 3.5 J/cm2 @10 ns. They are offered in diameters of 38.1mm, 50.8mm, or 76.2mm, with mounted thickness of 9.0mm. Featuring large clear apertures and air-spaced design for high power, these waveplates are available in retardations of 1/2 and 1/4 wave, and are AR coated for optimal performance. Standard wavelengths for 38.1mm waveplates include 355, 532, 633, 800, and 1064. Custom versions are available upon request.
